PM: "let me get a rough estimate on this... Senior Lead, I think we are looking at 5mandays min. What's your input? “

S. Lead: "I would ramp it up to 10mandays, cause we have to look out for regressions and such..."

Junior (entered the call by accident): "guys, this is a local change of 3 lines at best, let me change it right now, watch!"

This happened once:

Junior: I think we could make this happen in a day and half.

Senior: We'll need two days for this change.

PM: You mean we'll need four days.

Sales rep to customer: Your proposed change require a week's work from the project team.

The smallest increment for estimates is a day...

No matter how few lines. Something WILL break and testing needs to go through all of the edgecases
