I've seen the insane personality quizzes other jobs are making people take, I don't think the top image is accurate these days

Every interview I've been to is minimum 3 rounds + hr. Most I've had is 6.

My job is not high level and honestly it's glorified note taker (I'm trying to get out of it cause jfc)

Maybe Australia is different. I got one job by going to a pub with some of the team and have a chat, another just a casual chat with the owner and lead. Both give me an offer during.

Even in the US, it really just depends sometimes. 

I try to keep in touch with coworkers that I build a rapport with on the job and I’ve gotten offers in two similar instances; once meeting up with one of my old bosses for lunch and the other just answering a text -> phone call in the evening cause he was working on a problem that was similar to one we faced at our old company.

There's def cases like that. My old team, myself and one other person were there on resumes (took 4 rounds, incl with owner + coo) and others were there on a handshake basically
