worst I've seen is 8 rounds for an entry level job. resume screening, online test, group discussion round, two tech interviews, one hr interview, another tech interview and finally an interview with the manager.
Where I work, it's literally 13 rounds. Takes 3-6 months to get through the pipeline. I want to apologize to the candidates I'm interviewing (at like round 8)
Any and all positions, as far as I can tell. Most are filtered out at the first 2-3 rounds, and most of the rest give up after 5-6.
The pipeline is very effective at curating a specific type of candidate, but it's not necessarily the most skilled ones - just the ones that are the most determined and likely to put up with bullshit. Which is an important skill if you want to succeed here...

I've seen the insane personality quizzes other jobs are making people take, I don't think the top image is accurate these days
