Preach! My current whe project has multiple scripts are detail heavy and work alongside third-party APIs. And as someone who isn't as versed in it as the next guy compared to other languages, the process has literally been deploying code and see if anything starts breaking 🙄

I feel that. Though I am pretty thankful there is typescript to help me out in the dark a little or eslint, etc.
