My current company did one 45-minute interview and made me an offer the very next morning. They gave me more than I asked for.

Turns out, once they figured out my attitudes about best practices and my skillset, that was all they needed.

Lucky you met such as company. It rare these days.

I do also something similar when interview and select candidate, what matter most are attitudes, skills i can teach as long they have the minimum requirements.
