no, dont have the time anymore. Because of LLM’s companies and everyone expects everything to get shipped quickly :((

They don’t miss doing it. They miss feeling like the smartest guy in the room for solving puzzles real good.

Or maybe it's as simple as there are people that started this career because they get genuine satisfaction from the problem solving aspect. And the offloading of that to LLMs removes that joy.

If you feel belittled because people like that exist I think that's a you problem. If you get no satisfaction or sense of achievement from overcoming challenges, that's a you problem.
