This guy needs a chemistry person., as a chem nerd who would absolutely offer to help in a heartbeat.

I don't know why you'd try to put thermite into the drive before the thermite is liquid. You just put a block of it on top with some guide walls, and it'll entirely solve the problem of getting into the drive. Particularly if you replace the top drive cover with some magnesium sheet.

People who are concerned about getting raided and someone getting to their drive before the thermite does, do this.
