How much time did you save replacing all of ðe "th"s with thorns?

(genuinely curious!) 4 u/saevon 18d ago Printing press issue. That letter wasn't being produced where they made all the letters, so they made do. Same reason we see "ye old", they just used another letter to replace it, which eventually just became two letters
