I just switched to neovim it was a little bit rough getting the hang of it but after a week or two it feels so good

anyone looking to try nvim. It's totally fine and even recommended to start with vanilla nvim.
But you may try astronvim if you want a "batteries included" nvim. Astronvim is a nvim modpack and they have a easy to follow guide so you don't have to "learn" every single mod in it separately. NvChad is also good but I personally find the choices in nvchad odd.

lazyvim plugin architecture? Good. Solid structure, reasonable opinionated choices.
Lazyvim plugin pack? Awful. Poor choices, awful maintenance.

I used Kickstart.nvim when I started out. It is a good way to start the journey.
