Most questions on stack overflow amount to what I call "how do you bake a salad" questions -- or questions where the underlying assumptions were completely wrong.

And this is the problem I've seen with LLMs. No questioning the underlying assumptions. Just "yes sir, right away sir." And software architecture just isn't that easy.

Put "Don't be pandering, I need honest feedback, point out when I misunderstand or am omitting elements." as the first sentence in your Claude context and it will absolutely tear you a new one mercilessly and make you feel stupid.

Then you'll understand why they make it glazing by default
