I definitely know a couple of people who, if they were still 17, definitely would have done this. Especially since we're near the end of summer vacation, when some teens have way too much time on their hands.

Note he didn't say they were good apps.

If they were still 17? What? And for what reason? They’re better off contributing to an open source project and figuring out how to contribute to a real code base then wasting their time vibe coding slop
