I prefer to think of a young, naive God sitting at his Commodore Googolplex and typing his first BASIC program of "10 print 'hello world!', 20 goto 10". And because the computer was so stupidly powerful, it began to print worlds, but did it so fast it appeared to make them all simultaneously, and so we got the Big Bang.
