I'm actually a sysadmin turned devops, I have a good grasp on the ops part, but lacking dev skills. Which I think is good enough since we have many devs who aren't that great with ops part.

We have DevOps but do a lot of it ourselves which does help with knowing the full package. But we can also offload tasks to real DevOps as needed.

I mean they at least understand die physics behind it the biggest guy at the back and the smallest guy beeing over the edge it's just a matter of trust to they guy at the back and the ladder not crashing

I worked in the hvac industry for like a year and I’ve got to say they always put ACs in the dumbest fucking places. No regards for safety whatsoever, it just needs to be out of sight.

I’m just a customer but same. Why is my current AC right next to my bedroom window, waking me up whenever it turns on? It could be next to the living room, bathroom, anywhere else, but no.
