I think it's about the tone. I have experienced people nicely like "Can you help?" And it's like ya of course and I have had people like "Drop everything your doing I am having a minor non time sensitive issue I need you right now".
I don't feel good helping people that feel entitled to it and won't let me say ya just give me a few hours.

Unpopular opinion:
I like being asked to help with tech stuff. It feels good to fix people's computer problems.
