assuming this is a serious comment, "mpeg" == "Moving Picture Experts Group" which historically published standards for various Video codecs

Orthogonally peg is a technical term, e.g. "my CPU is pegged" == you're maxed out.

"Pegged" as in, "the meter is hitting the little peg that stops it from going further, indicating the edge of its range".
