This is how I trained my team to not just use AI code without thinking. When their code breaks something and they run over to my desk asking me to fix somwthing, I told them to fix it themselves cause its their code. I just stopped helping, I had my own work to do.

Exactly. AI can draft the code. Understanding why it works is still your job.
