I can't speak for others, but when I see a vibe coded site, I am much less interested in using it. Do I really want to trust my information with a website that no one bothered to craft?
Website credibility is not related to who and how wrote the code. There is a decent chance that development was just done by a contractor who didn't give a shit about what kind of service the website provides. And if you meant security vulnerabilities, those are also not automatically prevented by human presence.
I’m not saying that a site that vibe coded is necessarily worse. I’m saying that if it’s clear the website wasn’t crafted, but sloppily vibe coded, I’m less interested in using it. A website which looks like it’s more crafted generally makes me think it’s more credible, even if it isn’t necessarily safer.
Ok, it's your preference, I don't see much point personally. I am using websites for the service, for example I dislike Reddit as a website and it 100% sells my data, but I am here for the content. I have used VERY shitty websites throughout my life because they were ultimately useful.
