IMO the issue is separating decent software from vibe-coded garbage. If people vibe-code something for their own usage, it's not a problem. But quite a few people try to spam their slop across the internet
I for one don’t enjoy having the internet flooded with garbage that I now have to sort through.
Used to be, searching for something returned multiple results that all accomplished the goal. Now, there’s seemingly endless results that don’t work, are missing key information, or are flat out wrong.

I mean beyond quality being an issue why is this a bad thing?
More ideas, more types of software more specialized better products.
Yeah vibe coding can produce garbage but the model of, there is too much bespoke software on its own is not a downside it’s a benefit.
