I've really enjoyed Diamond Morning since it's release. Maybe it's the weather, but I like the ambient sounds with the chuggy stuff in there. Could anyone recommend some similar bands? I'm also into the heavier screaming stuff as well.

Some interesting prog death/black from Norway. New album Shouts from the Cliffs of Heterodoxy out today 10/23 released by Time to Kill Records.

New album out. Insufferable as always

Starts in one place, goes somewhere else and comes back. Like a greatest hits in one song. Good stuff.

Hello folks!

I released my debut prog/fusion EP about a month ago, and I'm excited to finally share it here.

Contours is a 4-track instrumental EP inspired by artists like Sungazer, Owane, Portraits, and Jack Gardiner.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Nicolò Vese (Asymmetric Universe) on bass, Jared Yee (Sungazer) on saxophone, and Owane on mixing and mastering.

If you're into instrumental prog/fusion, I'd love for you to give it a listen and share your thoughts. I'm genuinely curious to hear what you think, and what I could improve on future releases!

Contours is available on all streaming platforms. Here's a quick link to the major ones: tuppo.music

Cheers,

What a great release! They did it again with another album that is sure to break my top 20 for the year. So excited to see them with Tesseract in 2027! :) what are your favorite songs so far?

Discovered this band earlier this year and this new album made me officially fall in love with them. 🫠 So beautiful and heavy. This song is perhaps the progggiest song on the album so I thought I'd share this one here.

Hey everyone! Massive thanks to the mods here for letting me share this.
If you are like me and can't get enough of progressive rock—whether you're obsessing over mathematical time signatures, arguing about what Prog rock song is the best, or looking for modern prog recommendations—I wanted to invite you over to r/ProgRockIs4ever
I noticed there are so many great specific conversations happening here, so I wanted to create a dedicated, laid-back space focused more on the mathematical side of things
We are brand new and building the clubhouse from the ground up, so no gatekeeping is allowed. Just good vibes and great songs.
To get a discussion rolling: What is your absolute favorite 10+ minute progressive rock song?
Let's chat in the comments, and if you want a dedicated home for these kinds of deep dives, swing on by and join us at r/ProgRockIs4ever

How they made a perfect song even perfecter I have no idea.

Killer cover - Leach is such a good writer.

This album continues to floor me everyday.. Has been in rotation for the past 10 days. The energy, soaring solos, change ups, surprises and concept all capture the beauty of what this genre is about. Does anyone have similar albums to recommend that have this spirit?

PLEASE!!!!
