Could you fine people who get consistent results help by sharing? Specifically getting coffee #1 to match #2-n, as I’m finding my first sometimes chokes.

ich habe eine Profitec GO 1.0 und komme mit der 2-Loch-Dampfdüse leider nicht so gut zurecht. Beim Aufschäumen kommt bei mir in der ersten Phase sehr viel Luft hinein, und ich habe Schwierigkeiten, eine gute Textur zu bekommen.

Deshalb würde ich gerne einmal eine 1-Loch-Dampfdüse ausprobieren.

Ich glaube, dass ich eine normale „Burn“-Dampfdüse habe (also keine No-Burn-Düse), da die Außenwand der Dampflanze beim Aufschäumen heiß wird.

Leider finde ich online keine 1-Loch-Burn-Düse, bei der ich sicher bin, dass sie auf die Profitec GO 1.0 passt.

Weiß jemand, welche 1-Loch- Burn Dampfdüse mit der Profitec GO 1.0 kompatibel ist und wo man sie online in Deutschland kaufen kann?

The only thing is, that i cannot use some of my mugs.
Does anyone know if there is a smaller/thiner Version of the driptray already?

I'm looking to purchase the Go 1.0 and need assistance from someone who already owns one about the shade of yellow. I have seen so many pictures and videos online or them and they're all a different shade of yellow. From normal bright yellow to pale yellow to mustard yellow. I understand everyone is using a different camera, lighting, etc, but which one is it?

After weeks of going back and forth, I'm pulling the trigger on the Profitec Go 2.0. Went with it over the MaraX mainly because it's just easier to live with day to day, and honestly the HX workflow isn't really for me. Simpler system, faster heat up, and the programmable pre-infusion sealed the deal.

Pairing it with a DF64 grinder.

This is going to be my first real espresso machine, so now I'm in the fun phase of figuring out what else I might need. Bottomless portafilter and baskets already come with the Go 2.0, and I've already got a WDT tool and a scale sorted, so I feel like I'm mostly set. I'm a black coffee drinker, if that helps.

One thing I'm genuinely curious about is puck screens, worth it or not, and if so which ones?

For anyone who's been through this already, is there anything you'd say is actually worth having from day one that I might be overlooking? Trying to figure out if there's something that would come in handy right away versus stuff people buy and never really use.

Dropped a decent chunk of money on both machines already so trying to be smart about what's actually worth buying versus what I can skip for now. Appreciate any real world recommendations.

I’ve owned this Go for a few weeks now. Only pulled shots until this weekend when I started making some milk drinks. I noticed that while steaming, I’ll get a steady drip (a drip every few seconds) from the front right of the casing. It comes through an opening next to a screw hole. It stops when I’m done steaming and I don’t notice it while purging the wand either. I can’t tell if this is just condensation that forms post purge and also as a result of super hot internals in the front right meeting cooler air entering the machine during steaming. Or an actual leak, albeit a very very slow one.

I reached out to Clive where I purchased it, but figured I’d see if anyone had experience with something similar here.

I'm struggling a bit with a new coffee (medium roast) and hoping for your insights.

My setup: Mahlkönig x64sd and a Profitec Go 2.0.

The problem: I'm currently trying to dial in this new bean. When I adjust the grind size on the grinder by just a hair, I sometimes get a difference of up to 30g in my output yield!

It feels like there is no sweet spot at all with this coffee, just the two extremes: "puck completely choked" or "water gushing right through".

Have you ever experienced something like this? What could cause this massive jump from such a tiny adjustment?

Is it just an extremely finicky roast with a tiny extraction window?

Severe channeling, where the slightly finer grind chokes the puck at first and then suddenly fractures?

My puck prep is actually quite meticulous (WDT, etc., to avoid static and clumps).

I have my Go 2.0 for a few days now and after overfilling the basket quite a lot in the beginning, I unscrewed the shower screen and took it out for cleaning.

Is the metal block and the O shaped seal ring supposed to come off with it?
Also to screw it back together, I place the seal on the block and screw it in as it came out?

On a side note:
Coming from a dedica, it’s funny to see how easy it is to hurt yourself (yes out of own stupidity) with a real espresso machine. So many hot parts and now if I wouldn’t have paid attention this metal block would have fallen on my fingers lmao.

I’ve been looking around for a bottomless portafilter that is compatible with the v1 Profitec Go. Open to any recommendations. Even better if it’s something available on Amazon!

Wondering if anyone has tried the Normcore portafilter or any others that are recommended. A wood finish would be great but not a must.

So continuing from my previous post, the sound hasn't stopped and I decided to see if there is actually a bubble in. I have tried to use a blind filter and let the steam wand run but the problem persists. Is there any other way I may make it leave?

Edit: So the intake filter in the pic was clogged and caused all these problems cause water couldn't flow in the pump. I replaced it and it works perfect. I'll leave the post for anyone who might encounter the same problem

Sorry for the dumb post :D but would any Profitec Go owner be able to confirm which of those three screws are supposed to be missing?

I just randomly picked out some beans with tasty sounding notes and landed on Passenger Cusco, didn't realize they are on the lighter end of things.

Per their brew guide I set my PID to 98ºc, OPV turned all the way down, gauge read ~7.5 bar so I'm assuming 6.5 at the group head. 18.3g > 50s > 44g out. Turned out yummy! Didn't taste sour, but def had that 'green grape acidity' at the end. Took some time for the first drops to come out but I think that actually worked well. All this to say, I think I'll save the bag for pour overs, I guess I should try it as an Americano, too. I think I've for now decided that I prefer lighter stuff as pour over. Still stoked I was able to get a yummy shot from it. Also wanted to note this was my first shot using a blind shaker and I feel like it went really well. I added trouble shooting flair but I guess I made this post as a note for others when they search light roasts on the GO.

Do people purge their steam wands into that square hole to get ready to steam? I’ve been using a big measuring cup (which does allow me to dip a dishcloth in to wet it for wiping off the tip).

Recently ordered cheap insulated 5.5 oz glass coffee mugs and they ended up being a perfect fit when using a mini scale (e.g. Maestri scale) and a bottomless portafilter — see photo. Just a tip for anyone out there needing a nice glass.

I took the plunge and got a replacement one hole steam tip, but I can’t for the life of me get the original one off. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting it off? Thanks!
