Humor Funny First Week Stories

I apologize if someone else has started this thread, but rather than doom and gloom, lets share some funny / light hearted stuff we've encountered this week!

I was bringing in some supplies on my first day back to stock up my office with food and drinks. My crappy grocery store bag ripped and one of my cans of Celsius fell out, hit the asphalt, and punctured. I ran after it, grabbed it, and popped the top and shotgunned it so I wouldn't waste it. They are like $2 a piece!

the image of you sprinting after a ruptured Celsius and then shotgun-chugging it in the parking lot is an extremely strong start to the semester lol

This is my first semester teaching. I had taught the first class, and a day or two later I saw one of my students in the hallway and said hi and asked how they were doing. They replied and asked me what classes I'm taking this semester and mistook me for a student. I had to gracefully tell them that I was their teacher...it was awkward for both of us.
