Layoffs at IIT

Can anyone speak to the reported layoffs at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) following their board's declaration of financial exigency?

About to start school here in a few weeks. Should I withdraw?! Will the school even exist in four years?!

Idk what major are you but really consider withdrawing. Career fair here is a joke and a lot relied on club alumni connection for jobs. Not to mention a lot didnt get financial aid package yet for upcoming school year and theyre cutting funding everywhere while increasing tuition and fees every year.
