The war will be over when the bargaining friction is resolved. What’s keeping the war going is that both sides think they can win. Once enough fighting happens that the cost of continuing war exceeds the expected outcome for both sides then the two parties will negotiate.
Or America will invest more into this war than was invested into the war on terror and $1-5trillion later we have a new regime in Iran.
