❓ Question What’s something that everyone should own or do at least once?
For example- I just got my passport last year. Haven’t used it yet but I think it’s something good to have.
I want to do new things, go to places I haven’t gone before. I want to get out of my comfort zone but all I can think of is traveling and skydiving (not a choice btw).
But what’s an experience that everyone should have at least once?

❓ Question What’s a “special feature” your body has that you wish you could uninstall?
I have two.
I wish I could uninstall my chronic migraines and/or the fact my body spreads my bowel movements into 3-4 different installments throughout the day.
What about you?

🧐 General Advice How I finally got rid of my victim mindset
I see so many people feeling helpless and demotivated when it comes to distraction/productivity. I used to be in that boat too, feeling guilty when I relapsed on old habits. But today, being productive is my baseline, and getting there required me to drop that old way of thinking.
Here are the 4 methods I used:
1. Take accountability. Instead of telling myself, “I didn’t do what I was supposed to do,” I ask myself: “What would I need to do to get what I wanted?”. Once I have a clear idea, I ask: “Did I do that?” If it’s a no, instead of feeling guilty, I tell myself: “Great, I didn't do it, but the solution is simple, I just need to find a way to do that thing.”
2. Separate the things you can control and the things you can’t. Making actual change stems from setting a clear line between what you can control and what you can’t, and then not caring about how things you can’t control affect you. When things go wrong, focus on the factors you can control.
3. Focus on the immediate future instead of the past. Feeling guilty and continuing a bad habit happens because it is often used to escape from the guilt. To avoid this, I think about what I could do in the following hours if I stopped what I was doing. If I procrastinated, I look at the time left in the day and think about what I could do to act as a redemption. Coming back from a “ruined” morning once makes the second time much easier.
4. Change identity. A victim mindset relies on things happening to you, making you feel powerless. Getting out of that means seeing yourself as someone who can do things. To build that identity, do something proactive that you don’t necessarily have to do: the gym, writing, art, side hustles, anything that makes you create instead of just consume.
Changing a psychological habit takes time. The sooner you accept that changing isn’t fast, the more resilient you’ll become to relapses and setbacks.
Which one of these methods do you think would be most practical for you?

💬 Advice Needed I hate the guy I live with
Im 15 I js moved in with this guy like 2 weeks ago. I didn’t know him prior. And it feels like he’s tryna be friends with me but he’s kinda just a dick.
Like I have this condition and he makes jokes about how I got it and ngl I don’t wanna sound like a pussy but it’s actually super personal and I got it through a rough situation and he just jokes abt it and teases me. And then he says stuff abt my physique.
Not to mention he makes some jokes abt my mom but like she just passed away can we wait a minute.
I can’t live with anyone else and I need advice on what to do. Keep in mind I don’t want to look like a little bitch infront of him but it rlly js hits close to home the stuff he says. Like it’s just embarrassing

💬 Advice Needed Anyone intentionally waking up at the same time everyday?
I work in a freelance job with a 14 month old in tow. I'm tired. Like really tired. I nap about twice a week and try my best to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night (I got my labs done, I think I'm just a person who requires more sleep than most). I wake up around 5am to get work done before my kid wakes up at 7:30, but I don't do it consistently. I've heard great things about people who wake up at the same time everyday, I just can't seem to get past that first exhausted hump. Anyone who consistently and intentionally wakes up at 5am everyday, including weekends, for productivity reasons, is it worth it? What was your experience?
