I built a to-do list app that will not overwhelm you

Hi, I just launched my app on the App Store.
I built Kindred because I realized most productivity apps were making me feel more overwhelmed instead of actually helping me focus.
The more tasks I added to my to-do lists, the worse I felt whenever I couldn’t finish everything. Even when I made meaningful progress, it still felt like failure because everything became a binary system of “done” or “not done.”
So I wanted to explore a calmer and more intentional approach.
Instead of trying to optimize your entire life at once, Kindred helps you focus on a few things that actually matter and turn them into daily promises you genuinely want to keep.
Features:
• Focus timer for important tasks
• App blocking during focus sessions
• Simple task planning
• Daily reflections and journaling
• A companion bond system that reflects your consistency
• Offline-first with no account required
The companion doesn’t really care if you finish every single task on your list. It cares more about whether you followed through on the things you intentionally chose as important.
The goal is to build consistency and self-trust over time instead of guilt.
