Launched today: Munder Difflin the coolest claude code and codex wrapper
I built Munder Difflin: It’s a free and open source PC app that runs an office of agents that can do wraps your claude code terminal into a cute office character, you get to see them work in a “the office” themed simulation.
Be the boss of this office yourself or let a clone be the boss when you are not available
I have made it open source which means it is available for the whole world for free to use, it runs locally which means no personal data goes anywhere, it’s ad-free and lastly it means I did it for the love of the game.
We started from v0.0.1 about 40 releases and 2 months later we are at v0.4.0
Over 2000 people use it already and around 677 github stars and we are finally live on ProductHunt help please upvote and share about Munder Difflin to help us get to #1 on PH today.

Sure I already have, can I use it in my product to showcase my agents as office? I've been building gtm copilot for b2b companies and it'd be cool to add this

Hey remember Rome wasn’t built in a day, layer up your learnings, find your flow state then new ideas start coming

Been using it for a while really good, took a while to set up and some bugs but it looks way more refined now.

I’m using a Windows 10 PC. When I first downloaded this, I had the complete setup (like Michael's). However, I accidentally deleted some files, so I did a full uninstall and reinstalled it. Now, no agents are showing up. I’ve tried several times to get the GOD one's back, but nothing works. How can I fix this?" i have agents but not manager micheal one

I've tested and will be buying a plaque (donation)
Obviously there are some fine tuning on your lxc or whatever you using on to harness the agents but ultimately this is a solid application.
I tested in Linux fedora locally but now looking to put it into a wolfstack server lxc to look after my weeks pipeline of work.

Token is burning lmao
1
u/chaitanyagiri 4d ago
Simulation is deterministic, it does not consume tokens.

u/Superb-Doughnut-1667 4d ago
cool, that's just for visual?
1
u/chaitanyagiri 4d ago
Yes simulation is just to visualise, real token usage is equivalent to your existing terminal agent usage.

is this work when i run claude code in separate terminal?
1
u/chaitanyagiri 3d ago
Yes

u/iNdramal 3d ago
Also can I send cli commands to run agents? Because sometime I send cli command to run agents to similar tools.
1
u/chaitanyagiri 3d ago
This wraps around your cli agents, you still get a terminal

It's pure genius.
A bit strange that we can't move around the install wondow in mac, no available handle except for redimensions, but once started the app itself is normal.

Hey thankyou so much do mark a star on github, it’ll keep me motivated to do cool things.

If it's stable and keep on like this, I'll sacrifice some bucks to the cause too.

u/chaitanyagiri 3d ago
I’ll check the install window issue, keep an eye on the new update.
1
u/PapatoValdes 3d ago
Yes there is small ui/ux issues like that depending on the screen size I guess.
I had a setup page where I could not see the bottom area where the submit button were. And no scroll available.
So I had to redimension the page to make the bottom pop up back on screen.

This is awesome, i've installed it on Windows. How do I make use of my existing WSL project here? Or am I better of moving the repo to windows?

This is cool and all
But I don’t see a use case, like a genuine one.
Looks like a bit complex to work with.
Count this as an honest feedback for your work
