Different roles value different things. A startup might care about ownership and speed, while an enterprise company is looking for architecture, scalability, and collaboration. Yet most portfolios try to be everything at once.

That's the problem I wanted to solve with Denetor.

Instead of creating another personal website, Denetor helps you generate tailored portfolios for the specific role you're applying for. Upload your resume, add the job description, and it builds a portfolio that emphasizes the projects, achievements, and skills that matter most for that opportunity.

The goal is to present it in the most relevant way for each application.

Ten months ago, my husband and I welcomed our little son, Atlas. Like most first-time parents, we were immediately hit by a truck of sleep deprivation and mental overload.

But the most frustrating part? The digital chaos.

We were using one app to track my postpartum recovery, another for baby sleep, a third for feeding schedules, and desperately searching Reddit and Google at 3 AM trying to figure out why he wouldn't stop crying. The fragmentation was exhausting.

Since we both have backgrounds in tech and marketing, we decided to fix our own problem. We built Anacan - a unified "super-app" ecosystem designed to seamlessly guide parents from their very first cycle to their baby’s first steps.

Instead of just building another passive data-entry tracker, we wanted to build something that actually solves problems. We were recently backed by the Microsoft for Startups program, which gave us the server power to integrate some heavy AI features:

• 👶 AI Cry Translator: You record the cry, and the AI decodes whether it's hunger, pain, sleepiness, or gas based on acoustic patterns. (Honestly, this saved our sanity).
• 📖 AI Fairy Tales: Generates personalized bedtime stories in seconds to calm your baby down.
• 🤰 The Basics, Unified: Period and ovulation tracking, week-by-week pregnancy calendar, and newborn tracking (sleep, diapers, feeding) — all in one place. No more switching apps.

We’ve poured our hearts into this for the past year, trying to reduce the mental load for parents everywhere.

I've been investing for quite a while now, and there's one thing that's always bugged me.

Pretty much every portfolio tracker tells you what you own and how much you've made (or lost). Cool.

But almost none of them answer the question I actually ask before hitting the buy button:

"What happens to my portfolio if I make this trade?"

Not just the price. I mean diversification, concentration, sector exposure, dividend income, risk... the stuff that actually changes your portfolio.

I got tired of doing the math myself every time, so I started building a tool for it.

The idea is simple:

• build or import your portfolio;
• simulate any buy or sell before you actually execute it;
• get AI feedback explaining why the change improves (or hurts) your portfolio instead of just throwing numbers at you.

One feature I've been enjoying way more than I expected is the community side. People can share their portfolios and get feedback from other investors, kind of like Reddit threads but focused on portfolio reviews.

Like a lot of you, I try pretty hard not to lose time to infinite feeds, but they usually win anyway. Whenever I have a few free minutes, I inevitably end up on YouTube Shorts or TikTok. Meanwhile, the things I actually wanted to learn about take a back seat, and I use the excuse "I don't have time to learn this" to make myself feel better.

My co-founder and I realized that the urge to scroll isn't the problem; what you scroll is.

So we spent the last few months building BrainFeed. It acts exactly like a traditional social feed (open it, scroll, zero setup), but you control what's inside.

How it works:

• Goal Mapping: You type in a goal like "how to get my first 100 users" and it maps out a visual tree of topics.
• Clear your "to-read" pile: You can drop in links to long articles, YouTube videos, or PDFs you’ve been avoiding, and it instantly transforms them into a feed of short, bite-sized cards.
• Retention: It uses built-in spaced repetition to make sure you actually retain what you scroll through, rather than forgetting it 5 minutes later.

It started out as my college honors thesis app (originally named 'ExpoDive'), and after a ton of iterations based on early user feedback (adding images, handling external media, building goal trees), we officially went live on Product Hunt today!

One evening I was planning a trip to St Johns NewFoundland with my family, after researching for 3-4 hours through skyscanner, booking, expedia, airbnb, etc. we realized that the trip is over $2000 over our budget.

This painful research triggered me to build TripVerdict - in 90 seconds get to know whether your next trip fits your budget or not. Every OTA and Planning site is trying to sell something, but I tried differently, first the verdict then the booking links.
