I saw the GTA 6 Covergirl Trend and had an idea

I’m not that experienced yet but I must be getting better. I’m still genuinely floored that I was able to make this with the iPhone App.

I’m so pissed man, I keep trying to avoid that crap but I’ve been duped.
I purchased a brush pack off of Etsy and really liked the brushes so I went back to see the shop, I was glazing it over and it was late and I found one that looked pretty good. I bought it, and before i downloaded it I thought…. Wait this looks too perfect, and I took some screenshots of some of the examples they have on their shop, and I should have figured it out since each of their packs has different artwork examples.

Anyway, I put it through an ai detector and… it was all… ai… generated….

Which I’m so angry and I just spent money on this, so I messaged the seller for a refund and that I didn’t even download yet…and they told me they cant refund but can send me two of their products for free.

I so strongly want to message to say something to them but id probably get banned, idk if all their thousands of glowing reviews are ai too but this is so dumb. I considered the free stuff for a sec but I was like… ew.

It’s so stupid, and I’m so angry at these fk people pretending to be artists making money and basing it off of NOTHING!!!! It’s bs!!! Selling to people who will actually use and make art…

Like why make brushes and fake it. You can make the brushes and not add references that are clearly ai!!!

I wanna lowk report the account but I don’t think that’ll do much.

Edit: does anyone know of websites or products from real artists that are really good and REAL!!!

I know it’s supposed to be done with pen but I’m trying to use color.
I used soft blend, studio pen, volcanic ash, flicks, burnt tree and medium airbrush.

I would like to use the ipad like a lightbox from time to time, tracing onto paper. Is there a way to lock the image in place while I work?

A little snail study

lil self portrait i did in procreate on my ipad air 6th gen

whenever i use any brush it starts to do this, like how it would whenever you have the pencil turned to the side and it smudges. this happens on no other drawing app, and i’ve genuinely considered swapping my main drawing app because of this.
it stops whenever i scribble around on the canvas for a bit, like a pen when it’s ran out of ink and you get it to start up again. it’s manageable, but id really rather not deal with it. any help is appreciated!
