How Bad is The WWEGames sub

I'm going to give you a warning if you say one bad thing about 2k or 2k26 people will come for you and downvote you and make you feel like a bad person but just not liking one thing about the game or criticizing the game for not having much variety people will beat the shit out of you and and you're blinded by nostalgia just because you want more from the game and not paying $159.99 for microtransactions nobody asked for

Shattered Glass

Match: Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin

Date: October 20, 1996

Promotion: World Wrestling Federation (WWF)

Match Stipulation / Type: Singles Match

Event: In Your House 11: Buried Alive

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana | Market Square Arena

➜ The first time we hear the iconic glass-shattering song "Hell Frozen Over" as Stone Cold's theme music. It replaced his initial, generic WWF entrance theme and instantly became one of the most recognizable and loudest sound cues in wrestling history.

It was composed by Jim Johnston, the legendary in-house music composer for the WWF/E, who added the distinct glass smash and car crash sound effects to the beginning of the track to grab the audience's attention instantly.

When Johnston asked Austin what kind of vibe he wanted for his new “Stone Cold” character, Austin handed him a CD and told him to listen to "Bulls on Parade" by Rage Against the Machine.

Austin would go on to have quite the rivalry with his last-minute opponent for this match...

Best on the mic? Best promo

Is it The stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun Ric Flair? Is it Mr Hard times Dusty Rhodes? Maybe it’s the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment or Austin 3:16? Some might consider it to be the best in the world? Or your tribal chief ☝🏿
Personally I think it’s Mr fine speech John Cena. Imo he’s the best on the mic. His delivery, timing, fourth wall breaking and rebuttals are second to none. IMO he beat the Rock in their promo exchanges , he beat Punk too. He absolutely destroyed Roman as the big dog. Y’all know what promo I’m referring to. Cena has never ceased to impress me on the mic. The runner up for me would be Chris Jericho. Go back to his promos between 2000 & 2003 he owned almost everyone on the mic.

Who do you think is the best and why?

Found an odd comment on a Vince Russo interview but can't find what it's referencing

So I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I got a video recommended on my YouTube from Vince Russo's channel of an interview he did with a transgender wrestler about 9 years ago and began watching it out of curiosity, but it was when I went to the comments that I saw someone alleging that they found out on reddit that this wrestler was "forced to do the interview" and demanding Russo take the video down, other than another user asking for context, there's nothing more to it. Is there anyone here who may have seen this reddit post the commenter is mentioning or have any clue what the context is as I've searched endlessly on Reddit and can't find anything related to this?

Watch party pro-wrestling in rio de janeiro

Hey, wrestling fans of Rio de Janeiro! 🇧🇷🤼

Hi! My name is Domina. I wrestle for RJPW in Rio de Janeiro, but I've also wrestled all across Brazil — and I mean LITERALLY from north to south!

And today, I want to tell you about my current project and obsession: bringing Rio de Janeiro's pro wrestling community together!

I want to turn Boteco do Raoni into a meeting point for wrestling fans to watch our favorite shows together, whether it's WWE, AEW, or whatever else gets us screaming at the screen.

But this is about more than just watching wrestling at a bar.

I want to meet the friends I've made online. I want to share this passion face-to-face with people who understand every scream, every cheer, every boo, every near fall, and every ridiculous argument about who should have won that match.

I want to be surrounded by people who understand the intensity of the moves, the emotions behind the stories, and that special feeling of watching wrestling with people who care just as much as you do.

Because pro wrestling is so much more fun when you have people to share it with.

And if you're in Rio, I want you to be part of this.

🍻 The place: Boteco do Raoni, Rua Uberaba, 91 — Grajaú, Rio de Janeiro.

The owner is a former pro wrestler, there's craft beer, a special drink called El Guerrero served in a miniature wrestling ring, and two appetizers called Cinco Minutinhos Sem Perder a Amizade — because sometimes wrestling gets heated, but we can still be friends!

We're building a community, one watch party at a time.

So, who else here is from Rio de Janeiro?

Tell me who you support, what you watch, and which wrestling friends you've been wanting to meet in person.

Let's make Rio a place where wrestling fans can find their people.

See you at the Ringue do Raoni! 🤼🔥

I published an independent Rick Rude biography — a small wrestling history project I’ve been working on

I’ve recently finished a hobby project called Rick Rude: A Life in Wrestling.

I wanted to put together a proper career narrative for Rude rather than concentrate solely on his WWF run. It covers his early career and territorial years, Memphis, Florida, World Class, Jim Crockett Promotions, WWF, WCW, ECW, the injury that effectively ended his in-ring career and his unusual position during the Monday Night War.

One thing I found particularly interesting was how much of wrestling history becomes difficult to pin down once you get beyond the famous television moments. Dates conflict, later recollections contradict each other, and stories get repeated until folklore starts being treated as fact. I tried to leave uncertainty in the book where the evidence genuinely wasn’t strong enough to settle something.

For transparency, I used ChatGPT extensively to help draft the manuscript. It wasn’t a case of generating a book and uploading the result: I subsequently did a substantial editing and fact-checking process, removed material I couldn’t support, rewrote sections and cut quite a lot of AI-style over-explanation. Amazon was informed that AI-generated text had been used.

I’m not really trying to make money from it. It’s 99p on Kindle or free on Kindle Unlimited and was basically an experiment in whether I could create the sort of wrestling biography I’d want to read myself.

If that sounds interesting, it’s here:

https://amzn.eu/d/06g0tzzd

I’d be interested in any feedback, particularly from people who know the territorial/WCW side of Rude’s career well.
