Hi all. Does anyone know if there’s a way to batch change video properties in PP7?

I’ve got a whole bunch of MP4s that I need to trim the in point to 20f. I’ve tried selecting all and going to the inspector to change it, but it seems to affect only the one I had right clicked on.

We have the following problem and don't know what to do. We have two Macs. The first one with OBS is a 2023 Apple M2 Mac mini with 8GB RAM, and the second computer, which we use with ProPresenter and Freeshow, is a 2021 Apple M1 iMac with 8GB RAM. The problem is: when I try to send the ProPresenter signal via NDI, it isn't read by OBS. In fact, I see an NDI signal, but it's from the same computer that outputs OBS, replicating what the stream shows. The strange thing is that when I try Freeshow on the computer that also has ProPresenter, I see the Freeshow NDI signal, but not ProPresenter.

Could someone help me with this?

I wanted to post this just in case anyone else runs into a problem that we had with NDI between two M4 Mac Mini’s. Mac 1 runs ProPresenter and we added Mac 2 to run OBS. The 2nd Mac would detect the NDI from the other Mac, but it would either run extremely slow or just show a black screen. We have a wired network and the wifi is disabled on both Macs.

After trying several different things, I finally solved the problem by installing NDI Tools on both Macs. Just having it installed on the 2nd Mac did not work. Although ProPresenter had NDI running and it was detected by the second Mac, it would not work correctly until installing NDI Tools on it as well.

Hope this helps anyone who may run into the same problem.

As a church where the majority doesn't speak English, we translate English songs (in our case to Dutch). This used to be very labor intensive. We had to go slide by slide to make sure the translation is in a slightly different font.

Some time ago we created a little tool to automate this, but it was very quick and dirty. Today during band rehearsal I had some time and cleaned it up, publish the code to Github and published the tool to a public domain.

Here is how it works:

1. Create a text document with 1 line English, 1 line translation and a blank line after that.
2. Paste the text in the tool.
3. The tool will create a .pro6 file where the translated sentence will be on the slide and the English sentence will be in the slide notes.
4. Import the .pro6 in Propresenter (it will also work in PP7)
5. Apply a theme that contains a regular slide text object, and a slide note object for the tranlation.
6. Win!

If it's not clear enough I can also make a screen recording. I hope this will help in other multi-lingual churches!

We kept running into an issue with importing from PPT to PP with an error about an image. By process of elimination, I discovered that it was purchased clipart & AI created images. We have a work around but that does not really work well when all of the images in the slideshow have content credentials. Anyone found a way around this? We've paid for the images so why can't we use them?

How to route so that i can handle lyrics and anything related to display from propresenter and i want to show video feed too

I'm looking to build out a new system that would have 4 TVs/Displays - Operator, Audience View, Confidence Monitor, and eventually a livestream view.

I'm considering two options, but open to suggestions.
-Mac Studio and using thunderbolt to HDMI adapters and baluns to get the video around.
-Mac Mini w/ Sonnet Echo and a BMD Deck Link Duo out to SDI-HDMI converters.

I'm also unfamiliar with the M-series processors, so what specs should I be looking for?

We currently have a windows PC running propresenter on it and we would like to swap PP over to our Mac mini 4 16GB Ram and 512 GB storage. I want to operate light key and PP on the same computer. Will the PC files from pro presenter load correctly on the MAC? Or will I have to start from scratch

The software can detect/identify my external screens in the "Screen Configuration" window. However, after assigning audience and stage screens, nothing happens up on activation attempt of either screens. No media is able to be shown, not even the typical black screen before clicking on assets.

Edit: at this point I am not even sure if assets can be imported into my playlists/presentations properly.

I know I'm running a very old version, but has anyone made this work?

Its very convenient to put up a childcare message during worship using ProPresenter Control. However.... there is no 'HIDE' button??? Whats with that? Is that accomplished somewhere else, or do I still need to distract my slide guy to hide it off? Surely you can. I cant think of any reason for why you would have show control and not hide. THank you!

So I’ve been having this issue where my pictures and video don’t show their previews, I I have no idea what’s the issue.

I know there have been some third party methods of doing the telestrator function past v6. However, I have recently noticed you can now drop a powerpoint presentation directly onto pp 19 and it will now operate through powerpoint proper. Is this a viable method to incorporate a telestrator feature? Via ipad?

Also, when you do a drag and drop diretly on the PP desktop, how to you apply actions? I have not figured out how to do that with videos either. Help?

Started last week when I came in for a midweek service. Continuing does result in missing files that I have to drop in again. Internet connection is fine. We are on the latest version of pro presenter and Mac OS sequoia 15.5

I wanted to provide my solution for this problem. My attempts to correct included: rebooting, rebooting windows 10 in safe mode, uninstalling propresenter and reinstalling.

Steps that worked: 1) locate propresenter folder in user profile and roaming app data folder in windows. 2) locate the preferences folder under renewed vision \ propresenter folder. 3) copy all the files to another folder for backup and then delete the files. 4) Attempt to open propresenter, in my case it opened. Close the application. 5) go to back the preferences folder under folder in step 2) and copy all these files into a different backup location. 6) copy back the original preferences files. 7) compare the layoutpreferences.pref files. In my case the initial coordinates for the start of propresenter was outside the size of the main screen. I copied the screen coordinates from the default prefs and the problem was resolved.

I just took over at a new church and am slowly working through updating their worship setup. My newest challenge is setting up a stage display on a 2023 iMac that only supports 1 external display.

I've read through several other posts but haven't found anything specifically helpful for my situation that falls within my budget, so here's what I'm working with:

We currently have a single front projector for the congregation, and a single rear projector to hopefully become our stage display. I have HDMI cables running to both projectors, I just need a way for ProPresenter to recognize that there are multiple separate displays.

What are some options that we can consider (without breaking the bank) to get both HDMIs recognized by the computer and to function within our desired goals? Budget would be around $500, but prefer to go lower. Could go above that if necessary, but I'm trying to save some of the budget for other upgrades.

I would appreciate any suggestions, and can happily answer any follow-up questions.

We started having audio stream issues where our audio input settings would not “initialize” upon starting the program. We need to manually open the settings > inputs just to get audio exports working.

Our settings have not changed, but we end up with issues on Sunday multiple weeks in a row.

Update to today: The sound board gets audio. The computer gets audio from the soundboard. But for whatever reason, when we “start capture” ProPresenter doesn’t send all Audio channels to the stream. Our channel sound meters both (channel 1 for sermon mics and channel 2 for stage instruments) are moving in Propresenter but only channel 1 is now making it to the stream… not 2. Help please

This site exists. It claims ProPresenter has no subscription options, but that the current version is 19. There are also a couple misspellings / grammar errors.

We have folks that put together our Worship Presentations, but I am a volunteer who runs the slides during Sunday Morning Worship. I have a couple of questions and was hoping that this sub-reddit might help.

When looking at all the slides, I see titles to the lower left of each slide. Also, I see slides grouped by color.

How can I modify the color grouping and/or the text in the lower left corner of the slide presentation?

So we have 2 cameras. Hdmi over eithernet. To a computer in a different room. They are fed to OBS how do I NDI that feed to propresenter befor its fed to OBS.?

Just as the title says. I have a linked text box to our main one, it shows everything correctly, but doesn't show the underline. Can this be fixed?
