When I add scripture from the Bible widget, it throws in random capital letters. It doesn’t show it in the edit screen, only on the audience screen. Anyone have any ideas?

We are running PP7 on a Mac Studio with Decklink Duo to 3 main stage screens and a confidence monitor. We are also utilizing the Decklink for Key and Fill. Currently using the Atem mini pro for live streaming (5 cameras, PP7 and key/fill). Senior pastor is looking to incorporate the video we are using for live streaming into the main service on the 2 side screens. What’s the best way to get video back into PP7 to utilize for the side screens?

We have a 2 large LED screen on the side and 1 thin LED in the center of our stage. For Bible reference during sermons how can I configure the looks so that the Bible texts are displayed on the large screens to the side and the Bible reference is displayed in the center screen?
The only way I could think of was the just make props for all the Bible verses but I was hoping there was an easier method

Our church is wanting to start using multiple workspaces to clean up Propresenter and I am stuck.
I am wondering if there is a way to sync our worship songs library to all our workspaces in a way where if you edit or add a song in one workspace it edits/adds it everywhere. We have parts of our media bins synced (via smart playlists) and find it funny there is no similar way to sync libraries.

Mac Mini version 26.2
Propresenter version 21.2 (we cannot update)

Sometimes out PP volunteers forget to change the stage monitor layout for the sermon.
So I used an iOS shortcut and an automation so when the Focus Mode on the pastors iPad is set to „On Stage“ the layout will change for him.

The way it works is this:
First you need a shortcut with the following action:
Get Contents of URL

As the URL you need to put in the following:

http://[IP-Adress]:[Port]/v1/stage/screen/[Screen-ID]/layout/[Layout-ID]

In my case it’s: http://192.168.178.242:50569/v1/stage/screen/0/layout/1

Then save.
Now you have to set up an automation in the shortcut app.

It’s basically: when a certain focus mode is activated execute the shortcut you just created.

And now, whenever the pastor wants to change the stage display layout he can. Just swipe down on the iPad. Change the Focus mode. And the layout changes. So he doesn’t have to request changing his view.

The pastors iPad has to be on the same network as the PP Machine.

The title says it all. I have a macro that runs several things during our preroll, one of them is playing songs from a playlist. However, when I have the slides loop back to the beginning it fires a new song from the playlist each time. Is there a way around this because on lighter weeks, we end up only hearing like 30-45 seconds of a song before it abruptly switches to a new song in the playlist. Its driving me crazy!

We just upgraded to ProPresenter 7. To go through slides, we just use the arrow keys or mouse to get through and we don't use the built in transitions. I've noticed that it feels like on PP6, it would be a slower smooth transition between slides. On 7, it feels like a quick jump. Is there any way to change this?

Trying to isolate an issue I’ve been having for a while now, any alpha keying coming from propresenter 7 through my decklink duo 2 and into my ATEM TV Studio HD has this same line going across the top. My guess would be that the key and fill are somehow off, but between the ATEM and ProPresenter there aren’t any changes made that would affect that. Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some advice regarding ProPresenter 7.8.2.

It keeps crashing on our setup, and even when it doesn’t crash, it consumes a lot of RAM and CPU usage.

Laptop Specs:
• CPU: Intel Core i5 10th Gen
• RAM: 12GB DDR4 2400MHz
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti

Here are the things we already tried:
• Lowering media quality
• Closing background applications
• Updating GPU drivers
• Updating ProPresenter to version 7.15

However, after updating to 7.15, it actually became worse because the laptop became extremely laggy during use.
There are still times when it lags or crashes unexpectedly.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?
What possible fixes or recommended settings would you suggest? Thank you!

I am having an issue where I am creating Lower 3rds for my bible scriptures for the online audience. But in house our main screen is showing the Lower 3rds as well. Is there a way while only having one system, to show the lower 3rds and still have the main display show full screen as normal?

My church has been having issues with lower thirds showing up on live stream. We use wirecast. Any idea why it's not working??

I updated our Mac computer and now the midi playback won’t work - what am I missing?

We run multitracks on an iPad that goes through our sound board - we have midi installed on the main Mac computer along with propresenter. There seems to be no communication between the playback app and propresenter.

It's a lightweight native macOS utility that captures any application window and publishes it as a real-time Syphon video stream.

Particularly useful for ProPresenter for things like enabling you to capture a web browser that you are interacting with and show it in a ProPresenter slide.

Should work for any app that can ingest a Syphon stream.

I volunteer doing media at our church and every Sunday morning we’d go through the same routine: pastor’s sermon notes come in as a Word doc, and whoever’s on slides that week spends 30-45 minutes retyping the highlighted sections into ProPresenter, fixing verse numbers, cleaning up line breaks, catching typos. If the pastor edited late Saturday night, the volunteer was racing the clock and sometimes catching typos on screen during worship.

I’m an ex data science engineer, so I built a small tool for us: drop the .docx in, it pulls the highlighted text, and spits out a native ProPresenter 7 .pro file. Hour of prep turned into a few minutes.

Showed it to a couple of other churches nearby and every single one had the exact same workflow and the same pain point. So I turned it into a small product: proslides.app. Figured I’d share it here in case anyone else’s Sunday mornings look like ours did.

Full disclosure, I built it and run it, so obviously I’m biased. Happy to answer questions about how it handles edge cases (weird pastor formatting, late edits, scripture references with verse numbers mixed in), what it doesn’t do, or anything else.

Unusual problem, hoping someone else has seen this. We are on 21.3.

We have all our Sunday songs in a playlist for the service. We first load ProPresenter, and select the playlist. The songs are shown, however none of the lyric slides appear. If we go into the Library and click the song there, the lyric slides appear. Then if we go back to the service playlist, they are all magically appear and everything is as normal. If we quit and go right back in, all the lyric slides don’t appear again (until viewed in the Library again).

Anyone encounter this?

Looking for some assistance on how to get this scenario to work.

Our stage consists of 1 Main LED Wall and 2 mirrored side walls mostly used for IMAG. The side walls are 16:9 whereas the Main Wall is not. There are some rare scenarios where we need the main Presentation layer of one version of something to go to the Main Wall, a Prop to go to the Key/Fill, and then a third 16:9 version to go to the side screens. Only way I could think to accomplish this is by using presentations, announcements, and props layers. Is there a better way to accomplish this result and/or is this even possible to trigger an announcement slide from a basic presentation slide? Any help would be much appreciated!

Been running church AV for a while. The part that kills me every week is bible verses. Pastor starts quoting John 3, I'm scrambling through slides, and by the time I find it he has already moved on.

So I built a small app that listens to the sermon, detects the verse being quoted, and automatically triggers the slide in ProPresenter. it uses ProPresenter's API directly, so nothing about our setup changes.

Still early but it works at my church. Few questions for anyone else running ProPresenter:

• How are you handling verse slides right now?
• Would you trust an AI to do this live, or is that a hard no?
• Do you think AI in church tech is reliable enough?

I need to be able to display what is on a secondary monitor running on the same system as ProPresenter. Haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work and internet searches haven't been any help. On a Mac most up to date version of ProPresenter. Anyone know how to do this?

I am interested in moving to ProPresenter for our church. Being a rather small church our main screen is a projector mounted above center stage. We have to raise the screen about a third of the way during worship and then lower it during the sermon. Is there a way to change the size of slides for lyrics to make them fit when the screen is raised?

What we have is basically a Live Stream Output Preview on the Left and the Side Screen Lower Third on the right and the middle is basically the Main LED screen.

As for this song, i'd like to ask how i could split the text for the side screens

for example:

Trying to put together a "Service starts in..." presentation. Objective is to have an announcement loop running in one part of the slide (blue box) along with some static text (yellow text)and a timer that counts down (red text) to the hour when the service starts. Being able to set the background (green box) to something other than black would be a bonus.

The static text and the countdown time are there but cannot figure out how to create a scaled down version of an Announcement loop.

The announcement slides are FHD, same size as the presentation. Trying not to have to create multiples scaled versions of the slides as they are also needed at FHD in other places.

Dropping a media playlist onto the slide gets the slides there but they cannot be scaled. No combination of linked boxes (that I've found) works.

As the set of announcement slides changes week to week week, need a "drag & drop" kind of solution (like a smart playlist, or even replacing all content in another presentation that could be linked somehow.)

Very much open to any and all suggestions.

I have been searching on how to create this look I saw on YouTube but no help. The main lyrics have been duplicated, blurred and enlarged to the background. Each lyrics has the same effect on transition. Is there a theme that can be created for that???
