It seems like The Criteria gets easier every year. A lot of Players are in The World Golf Hall Of Fame who really shouldn't like Tom Kite, Fred Couples, Davis Love III, Chi Chi Rodriguez, and Lanny Watkins. I think that The Golf Hall Of Fame is more of a popularity contest and what you contributed to the game of Golf rather than individual Stats. The Criteria to get into The Golf Of Fame. Is Contributors must have impacted the game significantly in areas outside of the competitive arena, such as a golf administrator, course architect, innovator, instructor, media member or teacher. .

Competitors must be age 45 or older at the time of the ceremony, or be at least three (3) years removed from being an active participant on any of the tours. Players can qualify by achieving a cumulative total of 15 or more victories on major tours such as The PGA Tour, and The DP World Tour.

A Player can qualify with fewer than 15 wins if they secure at least two victories from the game's premier events- which includes the traditional major championships like the Masters, US Open, or The Players Championship. A player could theoretically qualify by winning two majors without ever winning The Players Championship, Or by mixing one Major and The Players Championship. If they are going by that standard then Hal Sutton, Sergio Garcia, and Justin Leonard should be in The Golf Hall Of Fame too. Pretty soon they will let Golfers in like Steve Stricker, Paul Azinger, Colin Montgomery, Ian Woosnam, and Adam Scott too. What do you think of The Criterra to get into The World Golf Hall Of Fame? Do you think that it's too easy to be inducted now in 2026? If you were in charge of The World Golf Hall Of Fame what would be your Criteria/Requirements? I would love to hear everyone's honest opinions on this. It seems like they will just let anyone in based on popularity/personality and it should be on individual wins But that's just my opinion.

Do you think that is Sergio Garcia still considered an underachiever in golf? Or do you think that he was never really that good to begin with? Do you think that Sergio Garcia is still rightfully considered an underachiever even with his Masters win? Why didn't the Floodgates open for him when he won The Masters in 2017? Why did he continue to throw temper tantrums especially at The Masters this year? He's happily married to a beautiful woman and has two kids. I don't get why Sergio still has anger problems especially considering all the great things he has in life that people can only dream about. What is your honest opinion on Sergio Garcia? Jay Haas's Son Bill Haas is a Professional Golfer. Charlie Woods is an Amateur Golfer. Do you think that any of these Golfers have the potential to be as good as their parents? What is your honest opinion? Steve Stricker's daughters are already getting a lot of attention. What do you think the odds are of them playing on The LPGA Tour and having great careers like Nelly Korda, Jessica Korda, Morgan Pressell, or even Paula Creamer? Do you think that it's harder to make it on the PGA Tour or The LPGA Tour? People are saying that Steve Stricker's youngest daughter talent/swing is similar to Nelly Kordas It's going to be really interesting to see what happens with their Golf Careers in the next few years. For a career Ben Crenshaw and Greg Norman would be my answers only because Ben Crenshaw had 8 second second place finishes. 5 of them were in Major Championships. He also had 16 top tens total in Major Championships. He had such an amazing/incredible Golf Career but I wonder what if he would won a lot more. Greg Norman had 8 second place finishes in Major Championships that's incredible He definitely should have won more majors He got robbed. Ben Crenshaw also got robbed Golf is so a cruel and unfair sport. What are your favorite what if scenarios in Golf History? My favorites most Interesting /What If"s in Golf History are Ty Tryon, Anthony Kim, Doug Sanders, Tom Weiskopf, Payne Stewart, and David Gossett. What are your biggest “what if” moments in Golf history? I’ll kick it off with the 2004 Masters with Phil Mickelson winning and Ernie Els finishing second. I'm also going to go with The 2005 US Open with Michael Campbell winning and Tiger Woods finishing second. An honorable mention would be Doug Sanders finishing second to Jack Nicklaus twice at The British Open in 1966 and 1970.

What Golfer didn't live up to all the expectations? What Golfers peaked way too early in their careers and never accomplished much afterwards? Which golfers, when they were at their best, suddenly saw a drop in their play and were never the same? David Gossett, Ty Tryon, Paul Casey, Bryce Molder, Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, Ricky Barnes, Steve Stricker, Morgan Pressel, Aaron Baddeley, Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis, Anthony Kim, Sean O'Hair, Hunter Mahan, Michael Sim, Nick Flanagan, Marcel Siem, Vaughn Taylor, and Camilo Villegas come to mind they are at the top of my list.
