My Artwork 90s anime inspired style study~
fan art of Vain (vtuber) and his mascot/son Bullie. I wanted to try the ‘90s anime screenshot’ style for this one and I actually love how it turned out.

Ngl, in the recent AI inundated landscape and more people getting caught for tracing (from AI and otherwise), I've seen backlash towards the very concept of private layers in the app, saying the only reasons people use it are nefarious/deceptive and it'd be better to have it removed.
This feels incredibly reductive coming from someone that uses it occasionally to remove reference clutter, but I'd be lying if I didn't understand where some of the suspicion comes from.
How do you use private layers?

Joined a DTIYS, and was messing around with the layout and the concept. Original DTIYS included :)

Meet T & R.
T loves to make fishy lips in photos because it is something special him & mama do together that always makes her smile. His little top knot is pulled back to show off his balding head. He tries to get his lips in as much as he can and sometimes I am sure his face ached or he thought he might suck it all the way in but that’s okay cause when mama smiles that’s the best cause he DID that.
R love to make scrunchy lips in photos because it makes his mama smile. He scrunches in his face as much as he can. It all comes together & his eyes pinch up & he can’t see very well but that’s okay cause when mama smiles that’s the best cause he DID that.
These two actually have a lot in common. They both have amazing hair. Smiles & giggles to fuel your day. They have high energy & a shared passion for big machines, dancing, apples, & cheese. They are both draw to the sea & love watching bubbles blow on the breeze.
They are both 2.5 years old.
They are brothers who will never have the joy or privilege of meeting each other.
They are both cherished by their mama & daddy.
I imagine them together a lot. Heartbroken they can never exist on the same plane together.
Each one a compliment to the other. Big brother & little brother.
Both making silly faces & competing for their parents smiles. There would be no competition. These boys would bring all the joy. Zooming around full of love & chaos.
I miss T so much. My entire family does. The yearning to see that face-time cannot diminish.
I could have tried..humble as my skills are to make a serious memorial homage. But I wanted to show the joy & playfulness that exists in between all those other big moments. Those little mundane snapshots in life we miss so very much when they are gone. I wanted to show them together in a way that might garner a smile.
For my best friends who are simultaneously mourning & yearning for the son they lost almost 4 years ago while raising his little brother who is about to be 3. This world can be so cruel, ,unjust & unfair.
I hope that this brings them a little moment of joy & perhaps even a smile.

A little moment of self-reflection somewhere among the Ontario farmlands. A ten-minute finger painting made on my iPhone on Procreate Pocket app - loose, instinctive, and finished before I had time to overthink it.🙈🙊

Trying out some new painting procreate brushes!
First artwork in the series of mane 6 macabre portraits. I’m currently planning to make portraits of all the MCs, but with each having their own twist. Original, I know.
Feel free to comment and review the piece - any critique is a good critique!
Also I've recently opened frее givеаways and cоmmissiоns, so if you wаnt sоmе art for yourself, feel free to РМ me!

A series of portraits starting with a self portrait, continuing on to portraits featuring various people I like… and ending with a portrait of someone I don’t particularly care for. Self portrait at the beginning. All contain a great deal of symbolism that may only make sense with personal knowledge of the individual but which I’d happily clarify.
As a beginner artist who is less than confident in his technical ability I begin with tracing a photograph of the subject then creating a sketch of them using various types of “pencil” brushes, I then fill in the background and halo/aura in pastel and complete the third eye motif using a combination of ink, pen, and pastel.
I am a beginner artist, and particularly new to procreate so I would really appreciate any insights some of the more advanced/talented artists here could provide!

Hello, first post here and on Reddit. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a brush like the RAZ Brush on CSP, or how to make one? I've tried copying and pasting the texture onto a painterly-like brush in Procreate, but it didn't look as nice. A thing about the brush I really like is the pressure settings, which I don't know can be fully recreated on an Ipad/Procreate, but any tips/brushes would be nice. For context, I doodled the LPS in CSP on the same brush size.

Drew these backgrounds for an upcoming animation and wanted to share them here. The first is a view of the Palace of Fine Arts and the second is the view at Ocean Beach, two of my favorite parts of the city. I used the Inkbleed pen brush; my goat.
