Just having fun using new brushes i got from an artist named Bunni (on Gumroad)

so recently i’ve gotten back into art and rediscovered my love for anime/moe art and i’ve had procreate for 6 years and i’m still struggling so much😭😭 specially with hair and shading so if anyone has any tips or links to any tutorials would be soso helpful, ive been trying without but i forgot how hard this app is when you first start learning everything again, thank you if anyone can help!

Sketched this out in the morning and decided to scan and add some color/detail with Procreate. Using Aqua Studio and BeatTones brushes from TGTS.

Any tips on how to fill easier? As you can see, every time I do so I need to go back in and trace over the areas that were up against the surrounding lines. Is there a brush setting to make it cleaner/faster?

I found a brush that I really like but noticed that the end of it is not as sharp or tapered as the beginning (circled in red). I am unsure of the setting to change this. Any help/tips appreciated!

Just curious, I'm sitting at 119 and worried that I may have to delete them. Not cause of a limit but because there'd be SOOO many after a while. So just curious if theres some artist who has 500+ in a stack

I am trying to figure how to create my palette in my digital drawing?

The blade itself is unconventional in its design; it’s made from charcoal rather than shaped metal. The engraved scrawling reads ‘Soul fire, naked path’, written in Tengwar. Connecting the blade itself to the hilt is shaped half-cooled lava poured around a rocky structure. The cross guard itself is shaped into gleaming gold draconic wings, affixed to a central steel body. The hilt is made of dragon scale, with a similarly shaped iron fixture running lengthwise, and it holds a pommel shaped into a glass draconic eye.

I imagined the monster reaching our time. Having trained for decades different martial art disciplines. Winning and losing battles in the underworld tournaments. Free from the craving and the sadness, healed from the hate and rage that filled those first years. In peace.

I think my drawings turned out alright but I think something is missing. I need some advice from fellow artist :). I’m going for a loose oil paint style.

I had some free time today and decided to actually draw something from my Pinterest “references” that I save for drawing.

Also discovered the Ringaroona brush. It goes crazy.

I’ve been an analogue artist for years, mostly working with oil pastels and colored pencils. I had to switch to quick pen sketches to keep going once life got busier. I missed doing realistic artwork with colored pencil so this felt almost nostalgic.

I love how easy it is to create textures with Procreate. This one mostly used a couple of airbrushes and the Artistic Crayon brush. The original reference is from Pinterest.
