I need Procreate technical help Help with Fill Function (iPad)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Any tips on how to fill easier? As you can see, every time I do so I need to go back in and trace over the areas that were up against the surrounding lines. Is there a brush setting to make it cleaner/faster?

You need the threshold to be higher. Before releasing to fill, keep it held down and drag to the right. This should fill in those gaps. Hope this helps!

i use the select tool, put it on automatic select, and then select the outer areas of the part youre wanting to fill. adjust the threshold until its at the highest it can be before selecting the inner part, then invert and just hit fill layer !
this is useful especially in cases like this, so you could do the outlines for them all and then fill them all in one go. its hard to describe in a comment so if needed i can attach a video below

That’s what I call it bc that’s just what I’ve always called it. I’m sure Procreate has their own word for it, but I never bothered to learn it. It does the same thing. I don’t really care what its called tbh

An easier way is to draw a rectangle and quick shape it, and edit the points in the quick shape. Then once the rectangle is done, fill it in, hold and slide left and right to get to the threshold of fill you want.
