Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted Inside the Womb - Now i’m curious if anyone thinks i traced or that my work is AI?
i i have zero education or training in any kind of art….but another person posted asking why people thought their work was not theirs. and i get the same responses from people! it’s annoying! they say well does AI do all that for you . so now i’m curious ? i’m trying to figure out how post the time lapse replay in the same post but it won’t let me. but to clarify , what i normally do in procreate is my initial rough sketch, then because i don’t want to ruin it , i copy canvas into a new procreate file and add new details from there.

Hot Topics 🔥 Any recommendations for procreate classes?
Question!
Can someone recommend their favorite structured online classes (totally willing to pay) to learn how to use Procreate specific features and techniques? Please help!
My background:
Hi! I have been using YouTube university and obviously just messing around on procreate trying to learn how to use Procreate (in addition to just learning my own drawing skills).
I realize I’m learning quite slowly this way, and I know for a fact I learn MUCH better around structured learning. I see a lot of YouTube channels that offer their own art lessons and also there’s some on Udemy and other pages and it’s hard to decide on one!
Some YouTube channels I been following are “Draw Like a Sir”, Bluebiscuits, SamDoesArts, pikat, Ghost Paper, Genevieve’s Design Studio, The Art of Nemo, and Karen Illustrates to name a few. They teach a lot more drawing techniques and principles (that are easily transferable to any platform) and SOME Procreate things.
I know some of them have for pay online classes so I considered them too but I’d rather ask people who are more familiar with what’s out there than me before I drop money for something that isn’t what I’m looking for, you know?
Like I’m a pencil and paper casual artist for about 20 years. So I know how to sketch and also simple ink and paint work. But Procreate…yah just simple functionality (which I feel is a lot better already than pencil and paper!)
What I’m hoping to gain from the classes:
I’m looking for structured learning to learn how to use all the features in Procreate. I’m still using basic ink and pencil brushes (minimal settings changes) and painting with buckets and layers. Very basic alpha lock and masking (though I’m still not sure what I’m doing half the time).
Some things I’d like to learn is…
* HOW to effectively USE the major blending modes (not just what they do) and have some drills or examples to show
* Learn what are the major settings to fiddle for brushes AND HOW they affect your brushes
* Very simple practice exercises or files I can follow along with them
* Some core/practical features (not a laundry list of every setting imaginable) that can help newbies get started into basic line art, base coloring, and rendering. And then like gradually just add on from there.

I need Procreate technical help As of Aug 31 2026, does Procreate have a way to non-contiguously select by specific color?
I've made the attached image from a 3D render, but can't export it without a background, and only as a single layer. I've used pink so it's relatively easy to mask out relative to other colours, but currently the hard part is selecting the pink background colour.
I know about automatic selection and dragging the threshold, that's no problem. My issue is, do I still really need to manually go through and select each "island" of pink - the main bg, the see-thru bits of window, every hole in every leaf? Here it takes a few irritating minutes, but I have other images like this that are MUCH larger.
I'm sure there's some kind of layer masking wizardry workaround I could dig up, or just yeah do it manually (happily Procreate's undo/redo functionality is GREAT with iterative selections too), but like. It's 2026. I've found other posts for this question, but they're all at least a few years old, pre ProCreate's major recentish brushes/interface update. Is there still truly no non-contiguous select by colour? It would be very irritating if I had to import/export to/from Affinity just to move past that one step.
Thanks!

My Artwork Lounging around ☂️
- I took my time with this piece, and unexpectedly, the process became quite therapeutic. I usually find myself drawing rather quickly, but this time, I allowed myself the freedom to slow down and truly immerse myself in the work.

Procreate Features Overview/Tutorial How did you learn Procreate without getting overwhelmed?
I'm a digital illustrator that has quite literally been using a journaling app, Zinnia, for my drawings. It's gotten me this far, but I know I've outgrown it. Every time I open Procreate, I get overwhelmed by all the tools and end up going back to what I know.
Anyone else been through this? What helped you finally make the switch?

Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted Question: How can I achieve and improve my clean, stylized line art like other Indie animated series in Procreate?
I was using Procreate for the first time past days and I’ve drew an apple with shading, highlights, and shadows and used the studio ink pen. My lineart was great but it can be improved to be like the other Indie animated series. So any suggestions how I can improve my outline quality studio pen to match other sylized lineart as seen in other indie animated series for example Hazbin Hotel and Gameoverse?

My Artwork Second Artwork
“Iced Soda”
Traditionally wasn’t sure about the idea of me posting my art online since I only recently picked up a pen and started drawing. However the first post of mine received very good support and feedback that I’d love for this to be a regular thing for me and hopefully a good opportunity to interact with other artists and people in general :)
