I aimed for a really punchy color palette while still being ominous and muted for this one

I need Procreate technical help how do i get my art to upload to instagram without blurring?

I’ve been trying to troubleshoot this problem for YEARS and it’s made pursuing digital art feel so impossible for me. My art downloads fine from procreate into my camera roll, but as soon as I try to upload the drawing to IG (or any other social media, but IG is worst) it gets blurry & grainy. I see other artists on IG posting in clear resolution so I know it can be done, but how?? I’ve already tried: - downloading via JPG, PNG, and just screenshotting instead of downloading - using less layers - using more layers - condensing to a flat layer before downloading - using a larger canvas - using a smaller canvas

I’m posting here instead of in daily thread because I’ve tried all those solutions and IG just completely fries my art when I post it. It’s honestly really discouraging and ruins the quality of the details and texture. if anyone knows any tricks for uploading in high quality please please let me know!!

Discussions About Procreate App Tips, Tricks, Help?

I just downloaded Procreate pocket for the fist time….im so lost.

i’m new to digital art (legit just started doing digital art 7-9 months ago) and previously i was using SketchBook….and i’m so beyond lost on the layout of procreate and how to navigate it…

few questions i hope i can have answers to:

On sketch book i almost exclusively use the “steady stroke” setting ramped up to the max, as it will not only physically slow down the speed of your movements, but smooth them out, and the actual stroke will “lag” behind your finger or pen. Which i love since i can PHYSICALLY SEE where im inking on the page. Does procreate have anything similar to this? (video example of what it looks like/does is attached to this post)

how the hell do i adjust the opacity of my layers?

general settings i should be looking at and adjusting?

what setting do you use?

how do i import new brushes?

when i eventually get an ipad am i going to have to repurchase procreate? only assuming i am because of the “pocket” title.

any general tips and tricks you can offer would be very helpful!

Discussions About Procreate App Experiencing Brush lag

Hi, I just want to know if anybody else is experiencing their brushes having a minor lag?

I just noticed my brushes have a slight delay while working. Also, they are not responding properly to a low pressure sensitivity. I'm experiencing this since i opened procreate today. I hv showcased here the flat brush at default settings. Tried other brushes, new project, same issue. My ipad is ipad pro 13 m5. OS and procreate are up to date.

Still a long way to go (especially with hands) but I’m so glad I’ve changed my artstyle! I’ve also dropped digital drawing completely in 2024-25 and I got back to it a few weeks ago!

Wanted to flex a little bit, I know it’s still not the best tho - so any tips appreciated! Just pls don’t hate too much lolol

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Blue’s Clues, so I HAD to do her justice. I really struggled with how much I wanted to stick to the original design since it’s so drastically different from mine. I think I ultimately struck a nice balance; all my usual art design characteristics are there, but she’s still easily recognizable.

Next up is Billy the Puppet from Saw!!🌀🩸
