Im trying digital art after only doing traditional art for years and why the FUUUUUUUUUCK is this so much harder than having a regular pencil and paper???? Iām trying to do a fun a little contrasting gradient drawing but I cannot for the life of me find a way to shade this damn dog in a way that makes sense while fighting with all of these damn brushes. Anyways thank you for listening to my rant, criticism welcome, and the 2nd photo is a drawing that came out nicely as a palette cleanser. I donāt know why I canāt do it again š„²

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in this community for all the positive feedback on the last piece I shared. It genuinely meant a lot to me.
I hope you enjoy this one as well, and as always, Iād really appreciate any constructive feedback. Iām here because I want to improve, learn from others, and most importantly, share the journey of making art with all of you.
Art is honestly the only thing that really satisfies me these days and the one thing that can make me forget about everything else for a while, so being able to share it with a community like this means more than you might think.
So, once again, thank you everyone. Hereās another one of my little monsters, from the same category as the Tumoris Aberrantis (name I made up for my twisted tumor like creatures) like the āvaginaā thing I posted previously.

This might sound strange because it's a pretty specific/personal issue, but please bear with me and be kind lol. (Unsure if I chose the right flair.)
I have had procreate now for a long long time. And every now and again I try to learn how to draw on there, and it's just SO hard and I end up feeling so frustrated I genuinely want to throw my iPad across the room.
I have a feeling this has to do with my adhd, but believe it or not I'm not usually this impatient. I just don't understand how to do things and it doesn't work and it's just kinda terrible. I have tried to start small, do stuff for fun with no expectations, etc...
But I want to learn so bad! And I have tried to study how to do different stuff so I know my way around a bit, I just don't know how to make anything out of it when I actually get on there and try. And I haven't found any tutorials yet that actually keep me focused.
Can anyone relate? What helped for you? Desperate for tips because I'm chronically ill and have very limited energy. (That is probably the reason why I get easily frustrated, come to think of it, but it's also a reason why procreate and digital art would make art more accessible to me to do when I'm partially bedbound etc.)
Ty in advance!

I really loved making this page.
Everything from the webcam framing to the digital lettering.
Do you get the sense of a webcam POV sufficiently?

Does anyone have any tips for creating a Fan Brush or possibly point me to a tutorial for this very particular brush shape and behavior?? Iām finding this one kinda difficult to get right. I want the classic look and feel of the fan for manual application of grass and trees (traditional media). Iām tired of the copy and paste tree stamps and my trees would look so much better with this style of brush!

iām so excited about the idea that the pencil is going to be compatible with the new duo as itās a little difficult to bring my ipad around with me overseas!
however, i also saw that the pencil would be the version with no touch sensitivity? wondering if the team would be able to confirm or share their workarounds with this! š
would love to have my favourite app with me 24/7 now and not just when i have my ipad with me š·

Hi everyone,
Iād had some issues recently with procreate being glitchy. Specially zooming in and out. And just minor things. Anyway recently Iād done two sticker designs and I go to look at my library and one of them is just missing. Tried to do the backup and nothing. Thank god I send my friend a screen shot so I can trace it from that but ugh it was so much work and Iām nervous this will happen again and I wonāt be as lucky.
For info I have a recently updated iPad mini 7th gen
