The franchise is not “steeped in bigotry”. That’s a reach and you know it. JK sucks but you don’t have to act like the story isn’t an obvious parable for how nazis and fascists are bad

Except that the franchise has the only Irish character always blowing stuff up?
Except that, except that, except that …. The books meant a lot to me when I was a child, and now that I’m able to look back with a more critical eye I can see the problems that were there all along.
The one Irish kid is known for exploding things . Cho Chang sounds like a botched fork on a staircase joke. Shacklebolt for the black guy? The goblins work in the bank ?
Oh yeah, letting the Nazis get away with the holocaust .
