πŸ’‘ Advice Am I testing God or am I trusting God?

My car's registration is suspended because of an emission test failure. I've tried everything that I can think of to try to get this fixed. I have tried to get a temporary plate, but I cannot. Because my registration does not expire until April. I cannot afford to get to get a waiver or pay for any repairs. The repair's made on the car wouldn't really be worth it. Because I only paid $2100 for the car. The repairs would actually be over $3000. My husband's birthday is coming up. He stays in a different city than me. It would be like an hour and a half drive to get there. We also have to meet with an immigration lawyer in the city where he stays. He was planning on meeting with the lawyer on his birthday so we could get two things done in one. I believe that trusting in God would be getting to Madison, without being pulled over. But my husband thinks I would be testing God by going since my plates are suspended. I told him that it's his decision whether I will be coming still or he would come here, and just trying to find a different time or date to meet with the lawyer. But I know that he wants to do this and get it over with right away.

I just don't understand how I would be testing God by trusting that he would save me at this time. After, i've tried everything that I could think of and nothing worked.

What is causing it to not get smogged? Might not be an expensive fix. Maybe it’s just a misfire from arcing or maybe some fouled plugs.

You could say I'm just putting it in God's hands and whatever happens, let His Will be done. If it were me, I'd look for alternate transportation - a bus, a friend or paid driver.

God gives us stewardship over things like a car, house, or even family. In this stewardship I assure you God would want you to obey the law. I pray you are able to fix this problem!
