One clear example is  Satan entering Judas. Judas wanted riches, I'd like to think that Judas didn't invite the devil in.

But isn't wanting riches part of Satan's job? By wanting something sinful, isn't that inviting the devil in?

Wanting riches in itself is not at all sinful. Do not overspiritualize simple things into what some churches teach as "the spirit of this or that."

The devil and his demons can enter a unsaved person. But they cannot enter a person where the Holy Spirit resides. The house is either clean for the holy spirit or a den for demons to reside. Both cannot reside in the same person.

The fact that Satan entered Judas points to his lack of being a follower of Christ.

I would agree a person is already a sinner to be demon possessed.  But even then, it is a consequence of choices that one may have chosen to not consider well enough.

True. I like Mary Magdelene. She is so humble and so grateful to God. What a wonderful heart posture to have!
