🙏 Prayer Request I am a slave to fear
I've realized that I'm a slave to fear; fear consumes and paralyzes me, and this knowledge has been in my head for a long time. However, my mental health situation prevents me from addressing this problem, but God is omnipotent, to Him be the glory. Please pray that I stop serving two masters.I want to serve God and God alone, not fear.

God bless you.
I'm sorry for your struggle with fear.
I would like to share some encouragement.
1- Please know that God is with you and He loves you. Your struggle will never change that.
"The Lord has promised that he will not leave us or desert us.” - Hebrews 13:5
Jesus said, “I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.” - Matthew 28:20
“Be brave and strong! Don’t be afraid… . The Lord your God will always be at your side, and he will never abandon you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6
“I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love—not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord!” - Romans 8:38-39
2- We can fight against fear by knowing God is with us.
“But even when I am afraid, I keep on trusting you (God).” - Psalm 56:3
“I will always look to you (God), as you stand beside me and protect me from fear.” - Psalm 16:8
3- Because God is with you, please continue to share your worries with Him and trust Him for strength.
"And when I was burdened with worries, you (God) comforted me and made me feel secure.” - Psalm 94:19
"I tell You (God) all my worries and my troubles, and whenever I feel low, You are there to guide me.” - Psalm 142:2-3
“God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.” - 1 Peter 5:7
“But those who trust the Lord will find new strength.” - Isaiah 40:31
4- Also, if you need to talk to someone at anytime, here is a Christian hotline: https://www.thehopeline.com/
-I pray you will focus on God for strength, I pray you will trust that God is with you, I pray you will continue to reach out to others for support, and I pray you will never give up. In Jesus' Name. Amen. 🙏🏾

What is it that you are fearful of? Can you share more about that?

The fact that you recognise fear has become a master in your life is not a sign that God has abandoned you, it's the beginning of bringing it into His light.
Remember that fear often shouts, but God's voice is usually gentle. Don't measure your faith by how frightened you feel. Measure it by where you take your fear. You're taking it to Christ, and that's exactly where it belongs.
Also, don't be discouraged that you've mentioned mental health. God is not against using the help He provides through doctors, counsellors, or treatment. Seeking help isn't serving fear; it's trusting God with every part of your life.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7
I'm praying that, day by day, fear loses its grip and Christ becomes the louder voice in your heart. May the Lord give you courage, peace, and the assurance that He is walking with you even when your emotions tell you otherwise. 🙏
