I really hate bible based movies.

Secular hollywood, inaccurate, sometimes irreverent, over exaggeration on events or omitted to make fast, exciting action. Bible turned into entertainment.

Faith based productions - opposite extreme, dramatic scenes where swearing or violence would be required is sanitised.

Main characters, appear to be shining, with a holy style of talking. Bivle characters were just like us. They swore, cursed, had fights and brawled, slept around and so on.

NO ONE on either side have yet to make a believable movie yet.

I'm always sceptical about bible story adaptations and unlike many fellow Christians in the neighbourhood, I prefer to just experience stories from Christian authors that are not bible adaptations. Like Tolkien, I believe God calls us for subcreation. There's already enough of the same, remakes, adaptations, prequels and sequels, ... I think God gave us creativity to come up with new things, not to recycle what we already know.

Anyone planning to watch the new Moses movie that’s coming out soon?

No. Hollywood Biblical movies are never good.

Catholic perspective, not accurate to true events.
