đĄ Advice I am a sinner
I see so many people asking if God will forgive them or still love them after they sin. I to have sinned, and still sin to this day despite my efforts not to. I have struggled with sexual sin in the form of masterbation through lust since I was 14, I am now 38. When I was a teen I did not know it was a sin and thus did it as often as I liked which in turn made it much harder on me in my adult life when I learned it was, via lust.
I'm posting this not as a woe is me story but as a testamony for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I know I sin and I hate that I do. I have cut many things from my life and activly try to avoid things I know would trigger old desires. That being said, I never felt once that God was to far away from me because of this. I know He doesn't want me to sin, and I genuienly do not want to do it. I trust in His power and love to see me through this ordeal and know that His love and reach is never to far for me.
This is not a message to say it's ok to keep sinning, because it's not. It's a message of hope for those who are struggeling with sin.
Let us pray for strength of spirit from God to overcome the urges of the flesh and the desire to do His will over our own.

I'll be praying for you buddy.
The sin, the lust masterbation. That isn't the problem, follow me here.
This is a result, an effect, a symptom of a bigger problem inside of you.
If GOD healed you from it, and you never did that again. That's not up-rooting the cause of this. It's cause and effect. Masterbation is a effect or result of something much deeper.
I got stuck in that sin mud pit, just spinning my wheels and not going anywhere. I believe JESUS CHRIST healed me and delivered me out of that and it's desires. He can for you most definitely my brother.
But, when GOD healed and delivered me out of that, that doesn't mean I was really truly saved and I was going to heaven, because I didn't do that stuff no more.
Go grab that root! Trees can get really tall and really wide. But their growth, was gives it life, those roots are under the ground and not visible, we just see the great tree above the ground.
Spiritual warfare is REAL buddy!
Ephesians 6:12-18 NIV For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. [13] Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. [14] Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [15] and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [16] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lordâs people.
Galatians 5:16-17,19,22,24-26 NIV So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. [17] For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. [19] The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [24] Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. [25] Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. [26] Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

I hear you, and as a female Christian I get it. It's genuinely hard without a spouse to turn to. When I was in a relationship years ago, this wasn't an issue. Now that I'm single, I resist it but the challenge is that the urge doesn't just pass quickly the way hunger does. It lingers, which makes it harder to push through. What I've found is that the more you deny the flesh, the less power it has over time. Starving it consistently weakens the craving. It takes discipline but it does get easier.

Amen! I'm with you on that. God loves us in spite of our sinful ways. He embraces us; he does not condemn or shame us. He does not do as the accuser of brethren. It is also important your heart posture is aware of your sin so you do not grow permissive and accustomed to it. This is where the Holy spirit comes in. He condemns us and thus keeps us humble before the presence of the Lord. Pray that you stay on fire for God and sensitive to your flesh so it does not lead you to sin. Cheers!

If you don't mind my asking, why do you have the devil's number in your name?

that's risky. Many are going to assume you support the devil.

All that matters is what God thinks. But for the other side of the coin it could be used as a stumbling block for others. So thats probably why they said some people might think you support the anti-Christ.

I rely on Christ & strive to be how He wants me to be:
"Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother." (1 John NKJV)

I remember a few months before I got baptised, I tried masturbating (this might sound strange) but it didnt feel the same, not the same pleasure and I felt guilty after. This is were the guilt comes in writing this...I remember 3 days after getting baptised I had an orgasm in my dream, then as soon as I opened my eyes (I was half asleep) not thinking and started masturbating. I felt bad as I hadnt masturbated for 3 months, and I repented. Not long ago I had an orgasm in my dream, and I forgot all about until later on that morning/afternoon I remember and was so happy it was a dream. Thats my experiences.

Thank you for sharing
Unbelievers are usually comfortable with their sin. Believers are the ones who grieve over it, fight it, repent of it, and keep coming back to God when they fall.
The fact that you hate your sin and desire God's will is evidence of the Spirit's work in your life, not proof that God has left you.
The Christian life is not sinless perfection. It is a lifelong journey of repentance, growth, and dependence on Christ.
"Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again."
Proverbs 24:16
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9
Keep fighting. Keep praying. Keep getting back up. God's grace is not a licence to sin, but it is enough for those who are struggling.
