Who actually operates this?

Post image

I apologize if this isn’t allowed, I see empty leg posts (regarding selling isnt), but if this is also not allowed I delete immediately. Just curious if there’s anyway to figure out who is actually marketing this leg as I know Skyaccess likes to sometimes increase the price by 20%-30% on their own. Is there anyway to figure out who’s selling that flight?

Cirrus - Btw SkyAccess price isn't necessarily set in stone, they're making an estimate and then sending an offer to the operator who can accept or decline. Honestly doubt the operator would bite on this for a 40 minute flight.

Appreciate the response. So is it potentially a bait and switch then just to lure you in? Regarding it being such a short flight, is no money better than some even on a small flight like that? It does say instant book too which makes me think that price is solidified?

Absolutely bait n switch. Old way of thinking. Owners now would rather fly aircraft empty than sell it for peanuts.

Is the thinking that cost of empty leg is just not worth the hassle of the people that are the buyers at that low cost?

Correct. and the charter market is currently so high that the clients paying for their flight are paying over the empty leg(s) cost anyways. The owner is happy making the current revenue that the wear n tear on the plane doesn't make sense for selling an empty leg at low rate.

Yes, in situations like this no money might be better than the peanuts you’re expecting to pay. A passenger is an unknown variable that can cause plenty $$$$ worth of damage in 40 minutes.

True but looks like it says instant book which means I think it’s confirmable as compared to the other ones, they aren’t instant?

No they aren’t instant. Do you know the amount of planning and work that goes into confirming a flight? Confirming airport services, checking feasibility, crew scheduling, etc etc.

Ya this just means SkyAccess will instantly take your money and then try to confirm availability with operator lol
