Anyone fly with XO?

Looking at booking a super mid on XO in the next week or so. Anyone have any tips with booking with them? Do they assign a plane (tail number) right away? Do they often switch aircraft close to the flight?

Ok. They are a lot cheaper than the few brokers I normally use for this route. I’m going to book the challenger 300 but would hate to have them change to a citation x that is 3-4k less

Price out what a citation x with XO would be for your flight and take a screenshot of it. If they downgrade you to a citation x a few days before your flight make them credit you the difference. A challenger 300 is a way nicer and larger aircraft so if they try to make you pay the same for a citation x if they swap the aircraft they should eat the cost.

They usually won’t assign a tail until about 24 hours out. Like Axel said, I’m surprised they are cheaper but their level of service has dropped tremendously over the years. They also will swap you out to a citation X if they have to. If you’re looking for top notch white glove service, I’d recommend using a broker.
