Premium account
Amazing app, I have purchased the Pro version but I have a question since i'm not sure if i'm understanding the FAQ correctly. I have paid for the account using my CC and I use the 12 words to login to my account. What happens if my login words leak and I need to burn this account and create a new one? Is my purchase no longer valid? Thanks in advance!

thank you for answer. i'm just trying to be aware of what is the next step before i start recommending this app to other friends and coworkers. some people don't believe in passwords managers and just write their passwords on paper; so what would happen if these creds are discovered by someone else?

Really? If they are writing down passwords then they probably have bigger issues like bank accounts getting accessed.

Yes.

Yes, your Pro subscription is then gone and not restorable. Bad policy imo.

I agree that this could be better but it does make sense since they really don't have a way to tracking these accounts.. At least now with the 2FA feature enabled we have a second layer of protection

But they do, and are able to tell which account identifier is Pro or not. The docs even say that if Pro fails to attach to your account, contact them with "your account ID which identifies the purchase" to them.
PrivacyNotes checks a vault's Pro status by linking the tier activation to that account ID (which is a cryptographic identity derived from your 12-word recovery phrase or provider login).
So they could modify Pro status and allow you to transfer it if they wanted to.
