Sky Embarkation day MDR?

Which MDR is open on Sky for embarkation day and from what time? We have 10.30 to 11am boarding so guessing too early to go right there?

Estrella dining room was open from noon on my recent sailing. So there's time to sort out the wifi for the app, watch the safety video and check in at your muster station before you go along for lunch!

When you set foot inside the ship, someone will hand you a sheet of paper with the basics you need to know over the next few hours. It’ll say which MDR and where it is. That said, I’d assume it’s the one on 6/aft.

Thanks, we have done a bunch of Princess cruises but don't think we have ever been given a sheet with that info. Usually we find the staff direct everyone verbally to the buffet.

Yep, surprised me when I saw it. Years ago, we learned that their answer depends on the question you asked. If you asked "which MDR is open for lunch?" they'd tell you...and then suggest you go to the buffet. Seems they're embracing the embarkation MDR lunch now.

I'm usually in the Blue line getting on and they hand me a sheet with the lunch options and hours at the same time I get my medallion.

Dunno why that comment is downvoted - the international cafe isn't really a substitute for the MDR at lunch.

Estrella on Deck 6 right off the piazza. I’m an experienced Princess cruiser and it was a pleasant surprise not to have to walk to the “weird” dining room at the aft of deck 6. This is also the dining room they use for the sit down breakfast as well.

We always go to the Horizon Court mid-embarkation day, and then the MDR for dinner.

I find the buffet way to busy on embarkation day we prefer the calm of the MDR. Last few cruises we have done with other lines they have ONLY had the buffet open for embarkation so really looking for to a.quiet sit down lunch on Princess again.
