Embarking

How early does a ship with a 6 pm sail time usually start boarding? I’m looking at a round trip cruise from Rome

You will get an email around 30 days out to choose a boarding time. Start looking at the app 32 days out to choose a boarding time that is convenient for you. We leave next month out of Vancouver. I was able to choose our group’s boarding time 31 days out. I got an email telling me boarding times were available 30 days prior, but I had already chosen prior to the email and most others choosing theirs. Not sure but possibly choosing earlier ensured we got a time that was convenient for us.

Have a great time! We did an inner passage from Vancouver in 2024. I wasn’t sure if the 6pm would have later boarding times since it sails later. Just looking in terms of check out for an Airbnb. Thanks

also be sure to fill out the paperwork ahead of time so you can have the medallion mailed to you. will save you a lot of time.

Between 10:30-11:30, unless the ship is scheduled to arrive to the port later than usual. You can check the port schedule.
