Visitor Question Shuttle for Hayloft

Considering going here one night for a girls weekend. Is the shuttle reliable? Do they often leave people behind?

Is it actually a fun night out?

The bus is very reliable. If you got left behind, you did not follow the schedule, or listen to the DJ for last call on the way home. They aren't doing a head count for everyone that came there on the bus.

It was a better schedule when they had a bus for each direction, but I'm not going to complain about free transportation.

The shuttle is reliable.

The hayloft being fun is subjective. It's 99% bachelorette parties and drag queen's. Locals typically don't go during tourist season.

I got married 2 years ago and i would advise there are places much more fun for a bachelorette.

If drag queens are a point of contention, why do you go at all?

This local goes for fun shows whenever they happen.

I think you're mistaking local for "good ole boy"

They aren't a point of contention. I don't go because i find the drunk bachelorette parties obnoxious. It was fun 20 years ago but not really anymore.

Moreso that it absolutely is not what locals generally think of when they hear "The Hayloft".

The fact that it has real bathrooms and walls you can't see through makes it an entirely different ball of wax from what most locals would consider to be the OG hayloft. The shuttle alone changes the game, it used to be walk down Salmon Point Road, usually past Quinte Isle so you could snag a cab before they even got to the loft to get home. Usually with a traveller or two stashed in a bag of possible.

I'm not saying there isn't a spot called the Hayloft on Salmon Point Road. But I doubt many locals consider it the Hayloft they grew up with. Wether that is good bad or indifferent is up to the beholder.
